The 15th Slovenian National Forestry Championship unfolded amid the vibrant atmosphere of the Gregorjev Fair in Šentjernej on March 7th and 8th, 2025. This event brought together forestry professionals and enthusiasts to witness an intense competition marking excellence in forestry skills. The championship served not only as a prestigious competition but as a prelude to Slovenia's hosting of the World Forestry Championship for the first time next year, highlighting the country's commitment to forestry excellence on a global stage.
Individual performances were the cornerstone of this year's championship, with competitors showcasing their mastery over forestry tasks. Žiga Švigelj from the Husqvarna team emerged as the national champion, demonstrating exceptional skill and precision in each category. Right behind him, Şimen Maksimiljan Rožmanc Drašler from SiDG 1 secured the second position, adding yet another accolade to his impressive repertoire. Finishing in third place was Stanko Bartolj, also a representative of SiDG 1, who displayed remarkable consistency throughout the competition.

In total, 51 professionals, including foresters and loggers, participated in this year's championship.
