The State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” has made an important step forward by starting to contract timber harvesting services through the state platform Prozorro. This modern solution allows to create a transparent and competitive market for logging services in Ukraine. Thanks to this, the market has gained new prospects for development, and the process itself is becoming clear and open.
In the period from January to March 2025, agreements were concluded for the harvesting of 2.1 million cubic meters of wood. These agreements have become a significant achievement for Forests of Ukraine, which indicates the activity and scale of the company's activities in this area. General Director Yuriy Bolokhovets informed the public about this important achievement on his Facebook page, emphasizing the importance of the step towards market modernization.
Contracting through Prozorro ensures the creation of a civilized market where every participant can be sure of the integrity and transparency of the process. This approach helps attract investment in mechanized timber harvesting, which is an important component for business development in Ukraine.
