Black Red White Plans Group Layoffs of 800 Employees Across Poland

Short: Black Red White in Poland plans to lay off 800 employees due to restructuring. The decision raises concerns about socio-economic consequences.

The largest furniture manufacturer in Poland, Black Red White (BRW), has announced plans to lay off approximately 800 employees at its facilities across the country. The restructuring will affect both production and administrative units and will take place from November 2025 to December 2026.

This is another stage of workforce reduction for the company, which has been grappling with financial difficulties for some time. As BRW representatives emphasize, the layoffs are necessary to adapt the company's structure to current market challenges.

The group layoffs will affect employees from all BRW facilities, including those in Biłgoraj and Zamość. They will impact various levels of positions – from production workers to administrative staff. The first notification of intent to carry out group layoffs was submitted to the Biłgoraj labor office at the end of September, and by the end of October, the company clarified the details of the planned restructuring.

Reactions from local labor offices and trade unions are still awaited, but experts predict that the layoffs could have a significant impact on the labor market in the areas where BRW facilities operate. The company assures that employees affected by the layoffs will receive support in accordance with applicable labor law regulations.

Black Red White emphasizes that, despite the difficult situation, restructuring is a necessary step to maintain the company's stability and continue operating in the Polish furniture market.
