In Belarus, a new development program for the pulp and paper, woodworking, and furniture industries has been approved for the period from 2026 to 2030. The main focus of the strategy will be on deep and comprehensive wood processing, which will enable the creation of products with high added value. This will be a key direction for enhancing the competitiveness of Belarusian goods both in the domestic and international markets.
The program includes the implementation of 45 key initiatives in the woodworking sector by 2030. Investment projects aimed at establishing new modern production facilities and introducing innovative solutions and technologies will be the primary focus. The program also envisages the creation of favorable conditions for investments, including state support and the development of necessary infrastructure.
