Tragedy in Zhytomyr Region: Vehicles Detonated by Mines in Border Zone

A tragedy occurred in the Zhytomyr region: two vehicles detonated on explosive devices in the border zone. As a result of the incident, five people were killed, and three others sustained injuries. Their task was to carry out a planned forest clearing operation, a task that, unfortunately, ended in tragedy. The vehicle, having strayed from the previously agreed-upon route, struck an explosive device, which proved fatal for the passengers.

Possible oversights in the planning and coordination of movement in the border zone, known for its heightened danger due to the presence of mined areas, are also under review.
