Karol Nawrocki, a presidential candidate from the Law and Justice party, presented the key points of his program during his speech in Wieruszow. He cited statistics that as many as 14 million households are affected by rising energy costs. He announced that one of his priorities will be to introduce solutions to lower these costs. He also suggested that Poland should strive to become independent of foreign energy suppliers and develop its own energy sources.
During the meeting in Wieruszow, Karol Nawrocki also raised the issue of war reparations from Germany. In his opinion, this issue is crucial for Poland's future. Nawrocki noted that the funds that could be obtained from reparations would be a significant support for the Polish economy and society.
The candidate expressed his conviction that Poland has a moral right to demand reparations, as it was severely harmed as a result of World War II. He stressed that regardless of the difficulties involved in the negotiations, this issue should continue to be one of Poland's foreign policy priorities. He appealed to the government to intensify its efforts on the issue and strengthen cooperation with other countries that may also have similar claims against Germany.
All these elements show that Karol Nawrocki has a concretized plan of action to protect Polish interests at both the national and international levels. His speech in Wieruszow generated a lot of interest, especially in the context of the upcoming presidential elections.
