Wood drying calculation is carried out according to GOST 6782.1-75 and GOST 6782.2-75. Tangential drying is 1.5-2 times greater than radial drying. Longitudinal drying is insignificant. On average, the total linear shrinkage in the tangential direction is 6-10%, in the radial direction - 3-5%, and along the fibers - 0.1-0.3%.
