“The main reason for the decline in exports was the blocking of the Polish-Ukrainian border. Zagalom, part of furniture exports in the usual regime of exports of goods from Ukraine for 11 months of 2023 decreased by 2.2%.

Between 2009 and 2021, exports of Ukrainian goods (product group 94) increased sharply by an average of 13.5%, from $0.2 billion to a record of $1.1 billion in 2021. In 2022, Ukrainian furniture manufacturers had to increase exports by approximately $0.8 billion, of which 91.1% fell to the countries of the European Union.

Donskaya praised that in 2023 he entered the export structure with partner countries. Thus, the share of exports to Poland in the same period of 2022 increased from 35.1% ($264.6 million) to 29.5% ($215.2 million). At the same time, the volume of exports increased significantly by 17%, from $129.3 million to $151.3 million, which also accounted for pet vase from 17.2% to 20.7%.

The Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers (UAM) has covered more than 70% of participants in the furniture industry.
