"Profit has more than doubled - up to UAH 3 billion. And this is in the conditions of a drop in the average price of an impersonal cube of wood and a decrease (albeit insignificant) in the volume of sales", - he summed up the preliminary results of 2023 on the Facebook page, reminding that before the consolidation and reformation, the state forest farms showed a total of no more than 200 million revenues and received 350 million hryvnias in subsidies from the state.
In addition, the profitability of the state-owned enterprise increased from 6% to 14%, and the payment of dividends to the state tripled. 56 subsidized property objects, on which the company's funds were spent over the years, were implemented through the State Property Fund.
"A significant part of purchases was transferred through Prozorro. The savings amounted to about 300 million hryvnias. This is also savings from minimum market prices. "If we compare it with the way forest farms used to purchase, we saved at least a billion hryvnias," Bolokhovets emphasized.
According to his information, in 2023 "Forests of Ukraine" issued property rights for an area of more than 700,000 hectares, it is planned to complete this process in 2024. The process lasted for many years, which contributed to the illegal alienation of the state forest fund, explained the general director and specified that the registered property rights for 5.3 thousand hectares of self-seeded forests and areas for afforestation are the result of growing trust in "Forests of Ukraine". from local communities.
The state-owned enterprise is also in the process of building 256 km of roads. Orders for the performance of these works are placed for the first time through Prozorro, which allows you to control the volume and quality of the performed works.
Bolokhovets noted that during the year it was possible to reduce the area of fires 43 times, which made it possible to save tens of thousands of hectares of forest, which was usually lost every year.
On the territories of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" 195 million trees were planted - this is more than in total throughout Ukraine last year.
"With correction for the huge losses of the forest fund, the President's program "Green Country" successfully executed. For the first time in many years, large-scale planting is carried out in southern and eastern farms. We are betting on the construction of modern seed centers and increasing the share of seedlings with a closed root system," he wrote.
Bolokhovets said that the security department conducted more than a thousand inspections of the company's branches, as a result of which new tools were introduced to combat illegal logging.
The state-owned enterprise also provided assistance to the Armed Forces in the amount of about UAH 300 million and provided the military with almost 100,000 cu. m of timber and 122 units. techniques.

As reported, the reform of forestry began in Ukraine in 2016. Within its framework, the sale of raw wood at electronic auctions has already been introduced. Since 2021, an interactive map of the location of wood processing facilities has been in test mode in a number of regions.
In the industry, the project "Forest in a smartphone" has been implemented, which contains a list of logging tickets for harvesting wood and allows you to check the legality of felling on the department's online map.
From June 1, 2023, Ukraine launched a pilot for the electronic issuance of logging tickets and certificates of origin of timber. In addition, SE "Forests of Ukraine" started a pilot project for the purchase of wood harvesting services through the Prozorro electronic platform.
Today "Forests of Ukraine" more than 130,000 cubic meters were harvested. m of firewood for the 2023/2024 heating season.
